BackCare in the Sunday Telegraph

23 Sep 2009

BackCare supplement in this week’s Sunday Telegraph

Ahead of BackCare Awareness Week, starting 10 October, the charity is pleased to announce that it has produced a 16 page colour supplement featuring issues concerning back pain and back care. The supplement will accompany the Sunday Telegraph on 27 September.

The supplement features top tips for maintaining a good back, a questions and answers section, and advice on some of the many complementary therapies currently available.

There is also professional insight as well as the testimonies of those who have suffered from long-term back pain.

This year’s BackCare Awareness Week “Work it Out” highlights looking after one’s back in the work place and there is information on this also included in the supplement.

Chief Executive Sash Newman said:” We are very pleased to have worked with Media Planet to produce what is the first of its kind for BackCare. We hope that the information included will help more people manage their back pain and help thousands of others avoid this condition. We also hope that we can reach out to more people through our publications, helpline and email service”

The Sunday Telegraph has a readership of 1.74 million people.

BackCare would like to thank Online Ergonomics and Nurofen for their support in producing this supplement.
