Meridian Day
Are your meridians blocked? Need your energy levels increased? Meridians are channels of energy that run through the body. During the meridian day we watched a video of exercises to help unblock these vital pathways of energy, used the Acupoint, a fascinating machine that actually lights up when it finds a meridian and even tried a mini meridian stimulator via a lap top computer. There will be a talk next year on this subject.  Watch out!

2nd June 2009
20 members enjoyed beautiful food served as always by the lovely Jackie. The Hats were exceptional and so four prizes were given:-
1st Lausanne who designed a box for Election day,
2nd Pat Campbell in a lovely Sunflower Hat,
3rd Mary Rymer and
4th Peggy Jaram.

We had a good raffle and Pat and Mary did some Line Dancing.

11th August 2009
Hull croquetThe game of croquet at Beryl’s in August turned out to be more complicated than we thought! Lots of instructions to the player holding the mallet about “roquet” or “croquet” flying about.  Some participants remembered to dress accordingly, which made the cucumber sandwiches taste a lot nicer. The competition for the “Boule Trophy” was eventually won by Lausanne Tranter – the deciding game played as the sun was going down. A most enjoyable evening. It was decided to meet on an ‘ad hoc’ basis, to be arranged when the weather is fine. If you would like to join us, phone Beryl.
