Research

Although we know a fair amount on how to prevent and manage back pain, there is still a lot unknown. This is why research is so important.

BackCare’s role as hub between people with back pain, (healthcare) professionals, policy makers and researchers enables us to encourage collaboration between these groups in exploring the unanswered questions.

Every year BackCare makes a number of research grants available to high quality projects that can start to answer the questions we have. Furthermore BackCare plays a key role in involving patients in research and dissemination of research findings to make sure that the research really improves the lives of people with back pain.
